Deep Purple est un groupe de hard rock/heavy metal formé en 1968. Il est (actuellement) composé de Ian Gillan au chant, Steeve Morse à la guitare, Roger Glover à la basse, Ian Paice à la batterie et Don Airey aux claviers.

 

En plus d'être un poid lourd et un précurseur du genre, Deep Purple à également signé un des hymnes du hard rock : Smoke on the Water.

Le titre ne vous dit rien? Ecoutez, et, si vous êtes un minimum cultivé musicalement (la base), vous allez reconnaitre cette mélodie mythique juste après la petite intro d'une trentaine de secondes.
